The required documents and declarations vary from applicant to applicant, depending upon the course and level.

1) One should first fill and sign the Student Visa Application form (Form 157A).

2) One must fill and sign a copy of family composition form (Form 54). You can easily find this form on internet.

3) We must also give list of documents submitted along with the visa application because it will be easier to find your documents. One can make an index on the very first page of the application.

4) Self-adhesive labels filled with details like name and address.

One should prove his identity:
*Copy of the passport.
*Authorized copy of your birth certificate.
*National Identity Card.
*Driving License.

6) We must have copies of passport of all the names mentioned in the application.

7) Recent passport size photographs for each person mentioned in the visa application must be submitted. Photographs must not be older than six months.

8) Proof of study:
You must provide Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from registered education institution for desired course.
However, CoE is the most important document for issuing Australia Student Visa (Subclass-500).

9) Authorized copies of your academic credentials.

10) Authorized copy of your English Language Test report. The test must have been taken not more than 2 years before the visa application date.

11) Funding Proof: One must provide proof of sufficient funding for study and stay in Australia. For example, if your parents are supporting you for study in Australia then they should prove their income minimum of 60,000 AUD.

12) Source of funding your studies:
You are also required to provide documents giving details about the source of funding such as:
• Loan certificate or a copy of letter stating loan is granted for specified amount and duration from a financial institution.
• Evidence of cash deposits in your name for specified period just before the date of your visa application, such as cash deposit receipt or a bank passbook or bank statement.

13) Health check-up and insurance proof:
Medical reports which are the proof that you don’t have any particularly dangerous disease.
Document proving you and your accompanying family member are covered under Health Insurance. It must be an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

14) Parental Consent, only for less than 18 years of age:
You must fill the form 1229 if you are not 18+.

8Documentation For VISA Checklist

1) Valid passport (issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least another year as of date of visa application; passports with observations regarding the front data page cannot be accepted) with at least two empty pages.

2) Application form & declaration (in accordance with Section 54 of the Residence Act) duly signed (2 copies).

3) Declaration for additional contact and legal representation information (2 copies).

4) Copy of your passport’s data page (A4 size copy) (2 copies).

5) Personal covering letter explaining the exact purpose and duration of stay (2 copies).

6) Proof of admittance to the study course/preparatory college (original and 2 copies).

7) Where not confirmed by the University in the admission notification: Proof of the language skills in the language of instruction for the study course or the preparatory course (without a preparatory language course as a rule at least B2-level in the language of instructions) (original and 2 copies).

8) Where applicable: Certificates of other academic qualifications (original and 2 copies).

9) Curriculum vitae (2 copies).

10) Letter of motivation (2 copies).

11) Proof of financial means to cover the costs for the time of your studies by one of the following documents:

Confirmation of a German / EU scholarship / Stipend.

Or - “Verpflichtungserklärung” (formal obligation letter) by sponsor living in Germany.

Or - blocked account for the first year of your stay, amounting to 10.356 €.

When applying for visa, you can provide evidence that you are able to meet your living costs by opening a blocked bank account. You have free choice of provider. To the best of the Embassy/Consulate General’s knowledge, the Fintiba Bank and Deutsche Bank offer blocked accounts in Pakistan that meet the requirements of the visa procedure. Information on providers that offer this service worldwide is available on the Federal Foreign Office website.

PLEASE NOTE: You cannot withdraw more than 863 Euros per month from a blocked account. This is only applicable especially at the beginning of your stay, you might be required to spend more than 863 Euros in a month (e.g. to pay a deposit when renting a room or an apartment).
