Germany is a great country for education; it has the largest economy in Europe, if you are thinking about studying abroad then Germany is the right choice for you, as education is free in Germany (Public sectors). But you would have to pay if you choose private universities, but fee is very much affordable in private sectors as well. You can also get full-scholarships programs in Germany, if you have some good grades in your previous studies. TEAM IGL is here to guide you about Germany as we are the specialist in dealing with Germany.

Usually, if you want to pursue your study abroad dream in Germany, then you should have 13 years of previous education. If you have completed you’re A-level, you can directly enroll in undergraduate program. But if you have done intermediate, which means 12 years of education, then you need to attend Studienkolleg (Foundation year) for 1 year to complete your 13 years of education.

If you have done A-LEVELS:

If you have completed your A-levels and now you are thinking to study in Germany then congratulations, this is the perfect chance for you to study in Germany. As there are 90% courses of undergraduate programs in Germany, which means you need to learn German language first in order to get admission in Germany.

WHAT LEVELS OF GERMAN LANGUAGE DO YOU NEED TO STUDY IN GERMAN TAUGHT PROGRAM?

You need to do C1 certificate for which we (TEAM IGL) are here to make you learn German language till C1 or you can give an exam of DSH-LEVEL 2 at least. There are also many programs which are being taught in 50% English and 50% Deutsch (German) for which you need IELTS 6.0 BANDS and minimum of A2 certificate. Which we will make you learn, as we have some great teachers to make you pass an exam.

YOU CAN’T DO C1 FROM PAKISTAN?

If doing C1 seems to be hectic from Pakistan, then we have an option for you:

We will make you do at least A2 from Pakistan; other levels of German language can be done from Germany, as we would apply a conditional letter for you. On which it will be written clearly that, once student passes an Exam of C1/DSH, he will be allowed to continue studies here in Germany. This conditional letter will be given from the university in which you intended to take part in.

The very first thing you have to do is to enroll yourself in German Language program with us (IGL). We will make you learn German Language till B1. Then we will apply for Studienkolleg (Foundation Year) on your behalf.

Once you arrive in Germany you need to do other 2 Levels B2 and C1.

After completing your German Language in Germany till C1, you need to give an exam called (Aufnahmeprüfung). Once you pass that exam which consists of German Language and Maths (We would make you prepare for the Aufnahmeprüfung also), then you can start your Studienkolleg studies.

After completing your Studienkolleg, you can easily enroll in Bachelor’s programs in the same University.

The final exam of Studienkolleg is called Feststellungsprüfung, which consists of subjects which you studied in the whole Foundation year.

What is Aufnahmeprüfung?

Aufnahmeprüfung is an exam in Germany, which they take before they enroll you for Studienkolleg (Foundation year program) in Universities after Intermediate (12 years of education). Passing Aufnahmeprüfung is itself a task for many students, as it’s not that easy to pass. We must have minimum of B1 Certificate in order to pass an exam but having B2 level in German language is recommended in order to pass that exam. There are 3 types of Studienkolleg programs; M-KURS for Medical students, W-KURS for Economics students and T-KURS for engineering students. Aufnahmeprüfung is made up in 2 parts, GERMAN LANGUAGE AND MATHS
